5 Tips on Aging Well

Getting older is a blessing that not everyone gets to experience in life. By changing some of your habits and adopting new ones, you can look years younger. The key to aging well is taking good care of yourself, getting enough rest, proper diet and nutrition, and finding new experiences in life. Here are some ideas to help you look and feel your very best.

1. Facial Massage

Facial massages with all natural oils go a long way in helping the skin stay supple. It relaxes your muscles and refreshes your skin. This reduces the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, and the oil helps you to wake up. This detoxifies your skin and gives you a healthy-looking glow. Many natural oils are a natural sunscreen, and protecting your skin from ultraviolet rays helps to eliminate redness, sunspots, and wrinkles. 

After you wake up in the morning, wash your face, cleanse it with a Moor Spa cleanser to remove dirt, and gently massage facial oil underneath your eyes, on your cheeks, forehead, nose, and neck.

2. Whole Body Care

Dress well, and be sure to update your wardrobe. Pay attention to trends, and don't be afraid to try wearing a new pair or sunglasses or hat. Also, take care of your skin. If you massage your body with oil or body lotion every day, you will experience decreased signs of aging such as pain or dryness. Take a shower before you do this, or if you have time, try a bath.

3. Be Flexible

Walking will help you to work up a healthy sweat which gives the body a youthful vigour. Yoga was designed as a system to help people look and feel younger, by strengthening the muscles, organs, and joints. Positions such as the handstand or downward dog bring blood flow to the face which helps you to have a healthy glow and eliminate wrinkles. It's a good way to naturally balance hormones and to establish balance in your life. You'll develop more rhythmic breathing practices and be stronger in many parts of your life.



4. Get Enough Rest

Quiet time helps you to repair and relax. Sleep is when the body repairs itself. At night, try to turn off bright lights and distraction after 9 pm. Be sure you're getting eight hours of sleep a night. Make your space more conducive to rest by rearranging the furniture, getting new sheets, or lighting a candle when it gets dark outside. Play soft music, and try giving yourself a few minutes of quiet every day to get yourself in the right state of mind.



5. Try New Things

Have you ever heard of the phrase, "youthful optimism"? Young people have a light-hearted view of life and often are very happy. Try to smile more. It will make you look younger. Be willing to start new hobbies that you've never tried before but always wanted to, such as aromatherapy, painting, or learning how to cook. Keep yourself supple by learning new things and striving to better yourself. It will give you a fresh new attitude and a new kind of happiness by earnestly loving yourself and the life that you live.



By making healthier choices in life, it's possible to look younger than your years. Having good self-care is the best way to aging well. It will give you a new lease on life and help you to look younger.
