What is a Booster

A booster is a very unique product. It is designed to enhance the benefits of your normal morning and evening skin care regime. Not only do they all contain the moor water, but they have had extremely specialized ingredients added which work with the moor and your skin to achieve the most radiant, healthy and revitalized look possible. It is common knowledge that the skin reflects the state of the body’s health and the first to show signs of imbalance and the first to meet the pollution that we now all have to contend with. With this in mind these extra ingredients have been thoroughly researched using the latest advances in ingredient technology. Each booster has a very specialized action. They should be used very sparingly and applied locally to problem areas of the skin or just used for extra special care and attention, as a real treat for the skin. They should be used as extra products once or twice a week due to their extremely deep penetrating action.

Boosting Cleanser Mask

This is a specific cleansing mask for all skin types. In this day and age it is so important to truly deep cleanse the skin to remove the dead skin cells and the effects of the pollution in our air today. With this in mind Moor has developed a boosting cleanser mask with an extremely enriched formula, aiming to minimise any outbreaks and normalise the skin rapidly. As with all the products from Moor it contains the herbal Moor water. Added to this we have Hamamelis virginiana, known as witch-hazel, which contains a natural antiseptic; it is cooling, regenerating and anti-inflammatory. Also Achillea Millefolium, which has been used as a medicine for ages, commonly known as Yarrow, it also has been described as having astringent, antiseptic, healing and calming properties. For good care of oily and acne skin yarrow’s important constituents include flavonoids, which are known to have antioxidant activities and anti-inflammatory properties, amino acids that are used for their water retention and skin moisturisation. Because of their reduced size, amino acids can penetrate deeper into stratum corneum’s cell layers than proteins with a higher weight such as collagen, and phytosterols with their natural active moisturizing principles. We have also included Aesculus Hippocastanum, known as Common horse chestnut, this contains tannic acid which has toning and astringent properties. It can also improve circulation and is a natural anti-inflammatory. It also has the ability to help reduce the permeability of capillaries. Another cleanser and detoxifier for use on oily skin types that we have included is Foeniculum Vulgare commonly known as Fennel. Hedera Helix known as Ivy extract is considered antibactericidal and soothing. It seems to improve massage tolerance of sensitive skin areas. It lowers tissue sensitivity, activates circulation and can help to reduce local inflammation. It is commonly thought that oily skin should not be moisturised, but it is actually quite the reverse, so to this end we have added Tocopheryl Acetate known as Vitamin E as it is a potent antioxidant and a great moisturiser, and can help reduce visible signs of aging with its soothing anti- inflammatory properties, while also promoting better enzyme activity. This product also includes Panthenol, Pro-vitamin B5. This is another deeply penetrating moisturizer, it stimulates cellular proliferation and aids in tissue repair. It imparts a conditioning feel allowing the skin to feel softer and more supple it also acts as an anti-inflammatory agent. Last of all we included Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein. This is naturally derived and constitutes a unique hydrating complex offering a combination of conditioning, moisture-balancing and film forming properties that work to give the skin a luxuriously soft and smooth feel to it. With all of these fabulous ingredients combined with the outstanding
benefits of the moor water this is indeed a truly fantastic mask.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE :

Apply the mask to the area required and leave on for ten to fifteen minutes, then remove with a damp cotton pad. This mask can also be used as a very special full cleansing mask. See step-by-step routine for instructions.
